Steiner inspired, supportive, creative, parent/ carer & child groups in the heart of Reading

Our welcoming groups allow your child to develop and socialise in a reassuring family atmosphere. Imagination and creativity are nurtured through free play with simple toys and natural materials. We share traditional, seasonal songs, and a healthy snack and drink. Parents and carers can come together to share experiences, learn new skills and support each other through the highs and lows of parenting. It’s an excellent way for parents to experience Steiner Education from the roots up.

Baby Group

A group for parent/ carers and their babies up to 6 months old.

Sessions are run in our warm, cosy playroom. We start with a warm drink, slice of cake and a natter! Then we move to the comfy, soft floor to observe the children in their free play. The session is concluded with seasonal songs and rhymes.

Parent and Child Group

A group for parents/ carers and their children, aged 6 months to 5 years old.

Sessions start outside in our natural garden, children have the time and space to play freely. There are seasonal gardening activities available. We then move to our warm, cosy playroom to enjoy a warm drink and healthy snack. The session is concluded with seasonal songs and a short puppet show.

If you cannot find a session that suits your needs, let us know what sessions you would like here.
