Baby massage

A Nurturing clasS for You & Your Baby
This cosy baby group offers a calm and supportive space where parents and babies can come together to build community, connect with their baby, and learn the co-regulatory practice of nurturing touch.
Each session is a gentle introduction to baby massage techniques, with baby yoga movements, breathing practices, and singing woven throughout. The sessions are designed to help both babies and parents relax together, support development, and enjoy a warm, friendly community.
We begin each session by gathering with a relaxed check-in, giving you time to arrive, settle in, meet other parents, and briefly share how your week has been. We then explore baby massage techniques using oil, alongside baby yoga movements, breathing practices, and singing to support bonding. The session finishes with tea and time to chat and connect.
Please note a 50ml bottle of grapeseed oil will be provided for the term. We will need to do a patch test when you arrive at the first session – this involves placing a small amount of oil inside yours and your baby’s wrist for 15 minutes to check for allergies.
Please bring a towel for your baby to lie on.
These sessions are run by Jo. Jo has been teaching mum and baby yoga since 2015 and has since trained in integrated nurturing baby massage and baby yoga. She is a pregnancy, birth, and postnatal doula who loves creating warm, supportive circles for parents and carers and their babies—spaces to build community while learning gentle practices that support bonding, postpartum healing, and baby development.
