BUMPS TO FIRST STEPS

We offer our sessions in two age-specific groups:
Bumps to 6 Months & 6 Months to First Steps.
This allows us to nurture each baby according to their unique stage of development.
Each session includes:
– Free play for babies in a peaceful, nurturing setting
– Weekly themes gently woven into the session, exploring child development, play, rhythm, and wellbeing
– A seasonal craft for parents, such as sewing a felt finger puppet
– A warm drink and time to chat
– Space to make friends and ease the loneliness of early parenthood
Held indoors in our warm, sunlit room, these sessions offer a calm, supportive space to simply be. As babies rest, wriggle, play, and take in the gentle sights and sounds around them, parents and carers are invited to settle in with a warm drink and a simple handwork activity.
Each gathering gently introduces a nourishing theme, offering space for conversation, insight, and inspiration—along with small, practical ideas to support life at home. Thoughtfully chosen toys, soft materials, and natural objects invite quiet exploration and gentle movement, while the peaceful surroundings support each baby in meeting the world with wonder—at a pace that is uniquely their own.

What should I bring?
You might like to bring your own personal sewing kit. You may benefit from bringing your slippers as our floors look beautiful, but they can be cold on your feet!
A request regarding phones
To help keep our space calm and connected for both children and adults, we kindly ask that mobile phones stay tucked away during sessions. You're very welcome to capture a special moment now and then—just please be mindful of the privacy of other families when taking photos/ video clips.
Food and Allergy Considerations
To help us keep everyone safe and cared for, please let Gemma know if anyone attending has any allergies. If you choose to bring food from home, please remember to avoid nuts and be considerate of any allergies to keep our space safe and welcoming for everyone.
