A Nurturing clasS for You & Your Baby

We OFFER TWO CLASSES -

Birth to 6mths & 6MTHS TO First steps

Inspired by the Steiner Waldorf and Pikler approach and aligned with the EYFS, our baby group offer a calm and supportive place to simply be. Away from the noise and busyness of daily life, babies can rest, wriggle and explore at their own natural pace, while parents and carers find warmth, community, creativity and support.

Each class follows a gentle rhythm designed to nourish both parent and child, including:

  • Free play in a peaceful, nurturing environment

  • A simple, seasonal craft for parents

  • A warm drink and relaxed time to chat

  • A chance to make friends and share special milestones

In our warm, sunlit room, natural materials and thoughtfully chosen toys encourage quiet exploration and gentle movement. As babies delight in the simple sights and sounds around them, parents can unwind, slow down, and feel supported.

Some seasonal crafts you may enjoy:

  • Sewing a felt finger puppet

  • Hand-stitching a pumpkin

  • Creating a window transparency

  • Threading baked apple slices and waxed leaves into a garland

Come as you are. Make something with your hands. Take a break from the everyday rush — and rediscover the quiet joy of simply being with your little one.

What should I bring?

You might like to bring your own personal sewing kit. You may benefit from bringing your slippers as our floors look beautiful, but they can be cold on your feet!

A request regarding phones

To help keep our space calm and connected for both children and adults, we kindly ask that mobile phones stay tucked away during sessions. You're very welcome to capture a special moment now and then—just please be mindful of the privacy of other families when taking photos/ video clips.

Food and Allergy Considerations

To help us keep everyone safe and cared for, please let Gemma know if anyone attending has any allergies. If you choose to bring food from home, please remember to avoid nuts and be considerate of any allergies to keep our space safe and welcoming for everyone.
