4 - 7 years HOME ED GROUP

Parent/Carer & Child Sessions
Our Home Education group warmly welcomes families who are deferring school start, home-educating, flexi-schooling, or simply exploring new ways to learn and grow together.
Each session includes:
– Unhurried indoor and outdoor play with natural, open-ended resources, allowing children to explore freely in a warm, nurturing setting.
– A simple seasonal craft or activity—such as baking, painting, or handwork—for children and carers to enjoy together.
– A wholesome shared snack, like homemade bread with hummus and fresh fruit or vegetables, offering a quiet moment of connection.
– Tidy-up time to gently encourage care for the environment and shared responsibility.
– A closing story or puppet show to nurture imagination and end the morning with a sense of togetherness.
Our Home Education group offers play-based Parent/Carer & Child sessions lasting two hours, designed with an unhurried pace to allow children the time and space for self-directed play. We provide a beautiful, safe, and calm environment filled with natural, open-ended resources. What do I need to bring?
-
Your child will need wellington boots. It is advised that they also wear a waterproof coat and trousers.

A Note on Toys from Home
To help keep play fair and simple for everyone, we kindly ask that toys from home stay at home. We have plenty of open-ended resources for children to enjoy and explore together.
A request regarding phones
To help keep our space calm and connected for both children and adults, we kindly ask that mobile phones stay tucked away during sessions. You're very welcome to capture a special moment now and then—just please be mindful of the privacy of other families when taking photos/ video clips.
Food and Allergy Considerations
To help us keep everyone safe and cared for, please let Gemma know if anyone attending has any allergies. A healthy snack is provided during each session. If you choose to bring food from home, please remember to avoid nuts and be considerate of any allergies to keep our space safe and welcoming for everyone.
